Join Little Characters this summer at any of our FIVE fun filled camps! Little Characters Theater Troupe encourages imaginations through camps, classes and workshops. We use dramatic play, improv exercises, and script writing to tap into our little characters within and foster creative confidence through engaging instruction.
This year, we’re offering a broad variety of subjects including Improv, Technical Theater, our classic “Produce a Show” camps and more! Camps are divided by age range for kids age 4-17, so you’re bound to find something just right for your Little Character.
Our production-based Camps will be located at the Winterville Cultural Center/Marigold Auditorium in Winterville and our Improv Camps will be located at WORK.SHOP (off of Chase St. in Athens).

Hey parents -- interested in Before and After Care? Before Care drop-off is at 8:30am for $10/day and After Care is available from 1pm to 3pm for $30/day.

Kaleidoscope Camp
June 9th-13th from 9am to 1pm
Ages 4-10
$275
Description: Your favorite characters are back, and this time - you get to turn into them! We will spend a week exploring all your favorite characters from Bluey to superheroes, to princesses. Join us for a week full of acting, dancing, arts and crafts, and end the week with a parent performance! This camp will end with a public performance on 06/13 at 12:15PM.

All About Improv Camp
June 23rd-27th from 1pm to 5pm
Ages 6-10

Description: Got a kid with a wild imagination who likes to play by their own rules? Sign them up for a fun week of games, exercises and learning to play as a team with All About Improv camp! The week will be packed full of laughter and trust exercises as we learn how to find the funny! There will be a show open to the public on the last day of camp at 12:15!

Produce A Show Camp
June 7th-11th from 9am to 1pm
Ages 4-10

Description: This five day intensive camp will focus on writing and producing our own performance! We will spend the first day brainstorming, improv-ing and writing our show, and spend the rest of the week rehearsing, putting together set pieces, costumes and props - and all that jazz - all leading up to a performance for parents and friends at 12:15 on Friday!

Technical Theater Camp

Description: This camp is for our behind-the-scenes folks! They will work with the 4-10s show that is being produced this week and handle everything backstage from lights to sound to special effects and so much more! Painting, crafting and backstage inside jokes are in store for your Little Technicians!

All About Improv Camp
July 21st-25th from 1pm to 5pm
Ages 11-17

Description: Got a preteen or teen with a wild imagination and a knack for comedic timing? Sign them up for a fun week of games, exercises and learning to create awesome scenes with All About Improv camp! We will challenge our older improvisors with games all around rhymes, word association, scene structure and OF COURSE - Puns! The week will be packed full of laughter and trust exercises as we learn how to find the funny while working as a team! There will be a show open to the public on the last day of camp at 4:30!
