Wild Earth Camp

Learn and have fun with us at Wild Earth Camp! Designed for ages 4 to 13, our nature camps connect children to nature through exploration, play, and teaching skills like building structures, tracking wildlife, crafting, storytelling, studying birds and native plants. Many of our camp mentors spent summers growing up in Athens with Wild Earth Camp, and are excited to share new nature adventures with your kids!

2025 Summer Programming

What do we do at Wild Earth Camp? Connect children to nature!
We will spend all of our time outside in the fields, forest and along the streams at the 50-acre Piedmont Preserve located off of Chase Street.

What happens if it rains or storms?
We plan to have camp in the rain and will have covered areas spread out in the forest for the children to gather and still be able to do activities. Also, we will  likely be out hiking and playing in the rain with whoever is comfortable.
If there is lightning and storms, we will cancel and do our best to reschedule.

Cost is $285-$350/week

(registration on or before March 25th is $285; when registering you need to pay your full camp fee).

All summer camp weeks run Monday through Friday, from 9am to 2pm.
(drop off is 8:45am - 9am and pick up is 2pm - 2:15pm)
